Marian Pitters

The company is managed by Dr. Marian Pitters, the founder. Marian has a depth and breadth of consulting experience in both the not-for-profit and private sectors including Education, Health Services, Retail, Community Services, Manufacturing, Government, Developmental Services, Agriculture, Insurance and Financial Services.

Marian's continuing research, writing and international presentations focus on her practice: combining evidence, leading practices and a real-world approach to ensure that partnered initiatives succeed. Marian’s personable style and commitment to outcomes brings out the best in each group. She is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), the highest professional standard in management consulting recognized internationally. Her professional consulting practice has been featured in Small Business Magazine, the Globe and Mail and the National Post newspapers.

 

Karen Metcalfe

Karen Metcalfe B.A., M.A., is the senior consultant at Pitters Associates. For over twelve years, Karen has provided facilitation support, knowledge capture and data analysis (both quantitative and qualitative), and managed IT systems throughout the company.

Karen is an award winning researcher. She has established extensive proficiency in teaching and consulting on methodology through her affiliation with a number of Ontario universities and through CIHR funded community-research partnerships. Karen is also the Assistant Director for the Windsor Cancer Research Group, facilitating collaboration among clinicians and researchers.
